The sensational Liverpool International Music Festival is back in 2017, celebrating its fifth birthday and bringing with it yet another fantastic line up! This year’s theme of ‘Remember The Times’ will explore and showcase pivotal music moments throughout the decades, which were the springboard for genres such as hip-hop, house and pop.
The four-day celebration of new talent, big names, musical heritage and cultural diversity is set to make LIMF 2017 a year to remember!
Kicking off on Thursday 20th until Sunday 23rd July are our impressive LIMF Presents events, which take place in the unique surroundings of the Sefton Park Palm House. Our hugely popular LIMF Summer Jam festival is open to all from Friday 21st until Sunday 23rd July and will welcome artists, creatives and music lovers from around the world to perform in the stunning splendour of Sefton Park.

Taking to the stages will be household names and up-and-coming artists, along with some unique collaborations taking place over three unmissable days – without a doubt, it will be a welcome for music lovers from every corner of the globe.

This year we are proud to present five special music events and performances centered round the theme of ‘Remember The Times’. Seamlessly woven together with various influences and innovative interpretations, the events and performances – which include ‘Good Times with Norman Jay MBE’, ‘Garage Classical presented by DJ Spoony’, ‘Circus Year One’, ‘Reminisce: 90s R&B with Trevor Nelson’ and ‘No Sleep with DJ Stretch Armstrong’ – will take you on a musical journey.
Aimed at budding artists, bands, producers and DJs between the ages 13-25 from across Merseyside, the award-winning LIMF Academy gives the city’s shining new talent exclusive access to industry experts. Dedicated to excellence, skills building and career development, LIMF Academy is one of the top artist development programmes in the country and gives a lucky few the opportunity to perform at this year’s LIMF Summer Jam.
